Portraits

Home Portrait    Life Portrait    Personal Portrait

This page shows the three styles of Portraits that can be commissioned with the Artist.

All three types of Portraits are presented on this page.

The Home Portrait is pretty self explanatory and can be seen throughout the pages of my website. It is the first kind of commission I received a few years ago and continues to be the most popular.

The Home at right is located in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and this original artwork was reproduced on the family's Christmas card.

A Great Idea... and one your friends will remember for a long time.

The Life Portrait shown at the right is very personal gift. It can be fun to prepare and research because of the portraits creative and, unique characteristics.

It involves collecting items that represent the life and times of the person receiving the gift or representing your personal collection of your favorite things. This has been a very popular portrait style because it's a gift that holds so many memories for you or your loved one.

Call me about a Life Portrait and I can discuss the specific details. You will enjoy forever the results of this unique one of a kind portrait.

The Personal Portrait is also rather self explanatory because it involves one subject or one individual.

This portrait style can be expanded to a montage, involving several photos of the same individual.

This visual style is represented in the portrait of Pope John Paul II shown  at right.

Big Sister...Little Brother

My first portrait of Sofia and William demonstrates the close bond between these siblings.

It was a little sunny the day I took the photographs for this portrait.

The common denominator to all these portraits is a simple group of photographs. My pen & ink style is considered photo-realistic in nature and it's that level of detail that characterizes my pen and ink style from other artists working in this medium.
